FIND THE WHOLE PROBLEM
The opportunity rarely fits inside one department.
Early in his career, Chris learned to look beyond the product being sold and understand the larger result a company needed. Working with large organizations showed him that meaningful growth usually crosses sales, marketing, technology, finance, legal and operations.
The lesson was simple. Find the whole problem first. Then bring together the people who can solve it.
MAKE IDEAS EXECUTABLE
A good idea needs ownership and a path to action.
Enterprise work taught Chris that ideas create value only when people know who decides, who owns the work and how progress will be measured. The strongest strategy still fails when it cannot move through the business.
That experience became the foundation for connecting priorities, people and execution inside one practical plan.
GROWTH NEEDS DISCIPLINE
Failure became part of the method.
Chris later helped build a portfolio of growing businesses. Several expanded quickly, but the whole system lacked the financial controls, focus, technology and leadership depth needed to protect that growth. Strong businesses carried weaker ones, expansion outran discipline and the portfolio eventually collapsed.
That failure changed how he leads. Growth is not just demand. It requires clear priorities, honest economics, accountable owners and the courage to stop what the business cannot support.
BUILD THE RIGHT TEAM
PHIX emerged from the work.
PHIX began in 2011 after clients and colleagues described the same pattern in Chris’s work: find a difficult problem, build the strategy and assemble the right people to execute it.
The projects changed across industries, but the approach remained consistent. Understand the real problem, bring together the expertise it requires and stay accountable until the result is visible.
TURN LESSONS INTO A SYSTEM
The experience became the PHIX Growth Engine.
Twenty seven years of selling, building and operating now come together with 15 years of PHIX client work and lessons from senior experts. AI helps organize, test and apply that knowledge faster, while people retain judgment and accountability.
